From Celtic to Baltic, classical to the edge of jazz, BRAIDSTREAM is an eclectic mix of musical styles, backgrounds and cultures coming together to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts.  An evocative mixture of themes and dreams that will excite and inspire, BRAIDSTREAM wraps the audience in an aural tapestry that elegantly blends the spirit of ancient recognition with bold innovation.  With flutes, hammered dulcimer, guitar, cello, harp, keyboards and percussion, BRAIDSTREAM  melds classical and modern forms into an exciting weave that defies categorization.

BRAIDSTREAM consists of four to six performers.  The best possible sound is achieved when all the instruments are used; however, BRAIDSTREAM  breaks down into smaller ensemble combinations to suit specific needs.  BRAIDSTREAM is equally comfortable in small rooms or ball rooms, and their beautiful music and professional demeanor enhances every special event.
